Stephen Covey said, “Goals are pure fantasy unless you have a specific plan to achieve them.”

And he was right.

How many times have you stumbled down a crazy, winding path to get something you wanted? It feels like fun at first, trying any new strategy you can find, until months go by and you realize you’re not even moving forward.

Goal-setting is the easy part – reaching them takes determination and focus.

You have to constantly remind yourself WHY you’re spending every spare minute of the day buried in your projects, responding to emails or texts on your phone, or frequently checking your To Do list.

I wasn’t always as organized as I am now. (And I’m still learning).

But what helped me get to this confident place was knowing where I wanted to be and how I was going to get there.

Here’s my advice to you:

Allow yourself to dream, then capture those images in your head by writing them down.

But you’re not done yet.

How are you going to achieve them in a reasonable amount of time?

You need to plan it out.

In today’s podcast, I’m going to share the best tips and resources to set goals and work towards them.

You’ll also learn how to prevent youself from becoming overwhelmed by the process.

And that’s very important.

Because when you take the time to plan your journey, you’ll be able to manage frustration, set-backs and changes to the original plan.

That’s where most people lose momentum and feel like quitting.

But this is not going to happen to you.

Let’s get started on setting your goals and laying out a solid plan to reach them!
