If I were stranded on a desert island, I would be fine as long as I had internet access and my beloved phone, my reliable and hard-working personal assistant.
Well, yes, if I’m stuck there for a while, I’ll need other essential things as well.
Like…
My trusty project management tool, of course.
Because THEN, I could let my virtual assistants know of my current and enviable situation of being shipwrecked on a tropical island (woohoo, no laundry to do!!!).
And then I can focus on what tasks need to be done this week, what’s the status of that project that has to finish by this Friday…
Assuming I get rescued by then.
But if not, I can still sit here on this warm sand and check my content calendar to see if anything can be shifted to another day or week.
At this point, it’s now settling in that I may need to get up and find a good source of clean, drinking water on this quiet island.
But first, let me review some of these tasks that my assistants just completed so they can automatically move along to the next step (while I go and look for some fallen coconuts).
Ouch! Was that a crab that just pinched me?!
Oh wait, I just remembered another idea I wanted to do a podcast on…let me just jot that down in this part of my PM tool that I set up for random, new thoughts.
Alright, it’s starting to get dark here, phone flashlight goes on and I have just enough energy left to listen to my latest podcast on how wild and amazingly useful project management tools are.
Have a listen with me – and keep my company for a bit. You might just want to snag one of these versatile, life-saving tools for yourself!
